FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 13, 2004 New York City.
IG International, marketing and consulting arm for IAFFC (International American Film Festival Council), announces the 2004 global schedule for the IA Film Festival events.

Focusing on the relationship between the US and International markets, IAFFC is organizing an International Film Festival and Market (IFF&M). The IFF&M is headquartered in LA and will travel to a featured city around the world each year.

This year the schedule includes LA, London, Dubai and India. The festival including award presentations will be in LA and in Hyderabad, India. The other cities will feature conferences and seminars on international film and distribution.

In the Indian segment titled “Bolly2Hollywood”, IAFFC will hit several cities at the end of the year with a series of events / receptions in each. A press conference scheduled at the Indian Consulate at 4 E. 64th Street on April 7, 2004 to discuss the upcoming worldwide events and the impact that this movement is having on the industry.

IAFFC established Bolly2Hollywood to capitalize on the transition between Bollywood and Hollywood. Bollywood is the largest film market in the world and Hollywood is the wealthiest. Anticipating crossover and interaction, IAFFC founded this festival, which is nomadic in nature – it travels from city to city for a series of screenings, events, cocktail receptions and the main festival itself that occurs in Los Angeles, CA.

2004 IAFFC Schedule:
October (Venue: TBA)
20th – Evening Gala Opening The Feast of India
21st – The Future of New Media – the Celebration of World Cinema (seminars and workshops)
22nd – Evolution of Style in the Fashion & Beauty Business of Film
23rd – The Fusion of Love and Music in Film
